TRIP VID! Traversing Dazaifu

This is one of my earliest trip vids, but I dare say it turned out well. Enjoy hiking around quaint but cold Daziafu, Japan.

Dazaifu in Fukuoka Japan is amazing. Not only because of the incredible thousand year old buildings but also because it is not overrun by tourists. I felt like I was experiencing an authentic slice of rich Japanese culture.

Following my tour of the Shrine I proceeded up nearby Homan Mtn with the intention of camping. However, at the peak it was simply too cold. Spirits doused I descended 3.1km in nearly complete darkness with only my headlamp to light the frosty trail.

I liked the old intro, featuring Totoro.

Interesting. I liked it as well, but thought it a bit oddly paced visually. Also, it’s all SD :-/ But I agree that a lot of the footage was quality content. If only I had invested in an HD camera from the get go.
