After crossing over the beautifully built marsh boardwalk and bridge , we made our way further into the Gull Crest Trail.
Continuing in our Cape Elizabeth Land Trust trail explorations, Lori and I went to the Town Center/ Gull Crest Trails, located in and around the Spurwink Marsh.
One great thing about Cape Elizabeth, Maine is it’s wealth of nature reserves. Apart from the annual summer camping trips I attribute most of my love of the outdoors to living in “the Cape”.
It was just after 4am when I decided to pack up my camp gear and drive to the nearest Katahdin trail head…
In order to really be considered a true-grit Mainer there are certain things that a man just has to do. One of these is climb Mt. Katahdin. It high time I finally faced this harrowing peak.
